    About Me

    My Approach

    I started Long Island Wellness Psychotherapy because I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy, treating the whole person and not just their symptoms. I use evidence-based techniques and work collaboratively with our clients to help them achieve their goals.

    My Experience

    My name is Jennifer David, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have years of experience helping individuals overcome a wide range of mental health issues. I specialize in anxiety, stress management, disordered eating and relationship issues.

    My Philosophy

    I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and change, and that therapy can help unlock that potential. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment where my clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.

    Mental Wellness with Long Island Wellness Psychotherapy

    Anxiety Therapy

    Anxiety therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment to help you manage symptoms of anxiety, identify triggers, and develop coping strategies. I utilize evidence-based practices to help you overcome anxiety and improve your mental well-being.

    Stress Management

    Stress management sessions help you provide tools and techniques to help you manage stress and improve your overall well-being. In these sessions I focus on helping you develop healthy coping strategies and techniques for managing stressors in your daily life.

    Disordered Eating

    Sessions focused on disordered eating habits help you identify emotional, cognitive and environmental triggers. We explore emotion regulation and coping skills, somatic awareness, and explore the origin of self-critical voices and the role food has played in your life. Goals for these sessions is to reconnect with our bodies in a compassionate way and develop a healthier relationship with food.

    Relationship Issues

    In these sessions focused on relationship issues, we hone in on attachment dynamics, boundary work, and navigating conflicts in a healthy way. My job is to help you connect your current patterns to past relation models while staying anchored in present-day growth.
